Today's neat thing: the Canadian Women's Chamber of Commerce recently submitted a proposal to the Major Projects Office to include care as a nation-building project and for #care to be included as #infrastructure. They're having a town hall on May 28 & I'm dying a bit inside because it's at the exact same time as another commitment so I can't attend - but if you have time, you can!

1. It's almost as if Club America is a good team, and Liga MX Femenil is a good league. 2. It's better for Concacaf as a whole that the championship switched leagues in year 2 of the tournament. It'll cause NWSL and Liga MX Femenil to take the tournament more seriously. #CWCC

Again, not having VAR is going in Club América’s favour. But they’ve been dominating this match so maybe wouldn’t make a difference anyway.
Camberos (also formerly of NWSL) gets a hat trick thanks to this penalty after Luebbert (another ex NWSL player) gets tackled just outside the box (but called a penalty anyway).
So all ex #NWSL players taking down 2025 #CWCC Champions Gotham FC.
This means Club América will play the final on Saturday vs either Washington Spirit or Pachuca (who will play their semi-final in an hour).

Orlando Pride really struggling this season, especially since losing Barbra Banda to injury.
Club América weren’t exceptional tonight but they looked much better than the Pride.
Pride players didn’t really have chemistry (understandable since many of them don’t regularly play together in league play) and looked tired.
Kinda feels like the Pride of old before they won everything last year. Potential is there but it’s just not working for them.
Not even Ovalle could save this.
