I respect the Seabears 🏀 as a #CEBL team, they definitely gave the Edmonton Stingers a run for their money last I saw them.

Canadian 🏀 Basketball #CEBL is weird though. No OT; they decide the match by stopping the game clock in the 4th quarter near the end, pegging an arbitrary score and the first team to reach it wins. I mean, that's one way to do it...but it feels less satisfying and less dramatic than #NBA play.

Still fondly remember the experience of watching Edmonton Stingers take on the Winnipeg SeaBears in Edmonton for their final regular season game before the star of the playoffs for #CEBL

The #CEBL schedule for 2026 isn't out yet but if a Winnipeg Seabears 🍁 🏀 home game falls on the same weekend as Ai-Kon then I just might try to watch it at the nearby 🇨🇦 Canada Life Centre, which is just up the street from the RBC Convention Centre.
