3rd annual Fossil Day teaches P.E.I. kids how to find prehistoric treasures
Prince Edward Island is rich with fossils from the Permian period, roughly 290 million years ago. A lot of the known specimens in the province are discovered by children, making the third annual Fossil Day in Charlottetown that much more important for teaching young people how to identify them.
