@ebel I'm going to try and create a Bhrat Bríd for the first time this year (some cloth out after dusk and brought back in before dawn to imbue with positive energy). I keep it simple. Dew on my face in the morning/up for sunrise. Light a candle at some point in the day and take time to welcome spring. Light a fire if cold enough to warrant it. Go for a walk somewhere I can see snowdrops. Put up my Bridget's Cross. I'd like to make a fresh one if I get time.

Beannachtaí Lá Fhéile Bríde!
Happy Imbolc!
Today is the first (unofficial) day of Spring in Ireland. The grand ol' stretch in the day has reached one hour.
Tonight my old St. Bridget's cross will go into the fire and be replaced with a new one.
May your house be protected from fire, your animals be safe, your butter store replenished and your apple trees bear plenty to share with neighbours.

Lá Fhéile Bríd Shona Daoibh!
Imbolc Faoi Mhaise Daoibh!

This morning I took out my Bridget’s cross, my gorgeous @Ciaraioch drawing of the goddess / saint (https://www.ciaraioch.com/artprints/p/brigid-a4-fine-art-print), lit a candle, and at dawn went out barefoot and washed my face in the morning dew. My own little non specific ritual to mark the start of spring in Ireland.
