The mighty medieval Bothwell Castle, built on a bluff above a bend in the River Clyde. Bothwell Parish Church to the east of Glasgow. This is the oldest collegiate church in Scotland which is still in use, with parts dating back to the 14th Century. However, the Gothic nave and tower are more recent and date from 1833.
