The magnificent 3.14m high Fowlis Wester Pictish symbol stone at Fowlis Wester in Perthshire. This is actually a replica placed here in 1991 when the original stone was moved to the shelter of a nearby church, where it is on display. The view of the lovely village of Dunkeld in Perthshire from Dunkeld Bridge over the River Tay. The village was rebuilt after being largely destroyed in a battle in 1689, while the bridge was built by Thomas Telford in 1809.
