Borough Hill, Daventry, Aug
If you have an old (British) radio, there'll probably be a dial, marked with several place-names; Hilversum, Athlone - and Daventry.
It was this array of aerials that the radio tuned into.
It was a relay station for the BBC. There is a story that an entire orchestra turned up here, expecting to find a studio.
The array was removed, some time ago.
