For #TolkienReadingDay we read the passage of The Tale of Tinúviel from The #BookofLostTales where Tinúviel (aka Lúthien) magically grows her hair to weave a cloak of sleep and escape from the tree her father has put her in to keep her out of trouble. It has a lot of rich detail missing from the brief version that ended up in the published #Silmarillion. Definitely worth a read. #Tolkien
