That was a wonderful test series. Nice to see ball totally dominate bat. Nice to see the newbies like Boland and Webster do so well. (yeah I know that Boland isn't technically a newbie but he's new enough) I think that team discipline won it for Australia. Too many uncontrolled egos in the Indian side. Bumrah was easily the best bowler but great bowlers so often come in pairs or even threes. What the Indians really lacked was that 3rd swing/seam option.

It is the start of the southern summer and the Matroosberg (meaning sailor mountain) still have patches of snow on it.

IIRC this mountain gets the most snow in South Africa, which is a bit crazy as it is only 2249m.

The amazing Hex River Valley mountains as seen from just as an amazing drive on the Du Toitskloof pass.

Once through the pass one gets into more wine country, but this time of Chenin variety.

I have never hiked here, but I am told the terrain is pretty tough, especially when doing the Hex traverse. It is on the bucket list though.
