Another first for me: never properly photographed eclipses, or Moon in general. This year I finally own a good tripod, so I could use it with my old trusty Sigma 100-300mm lens, and a newer and not loved (horribly small battery, and it's draining if you leave it in the camera) Canon r10 mirrorless. It seems to be a good camera otherwise. Still, it gives me 480mm equivalent, and I have an East-South facing open balcony :)

Yesterday's lunar eclipse was very special because it also took place during a phenomenon called a blood moon. I was very lucky – I was on the outskirts of Leszno, where visibility was very good. These may not be the most beautiful photos I have ever taken, as I am not an expert in astrophotography, but this moment was definitely worth capturing. In the following photos, you will see the subsequent phases of the eclipse. At the end, there was a very large difference in the illumination of the two sides of the Moon, so I decided to take a photo of only the illuminated side.
