another pile of mixed debris
waits for sundown
when neighbours can quietly sift through
what’s left at the curbside
remnants of a life succumbed—
some here have known him
some might have said hello
no differentials
nobody need show credentials
to haul away
leftover possessions of the man
whose heart surrendered its beat
come on take home a piece
of another who no longer #bleeds
