Educators using my text. The chapter on Advertising Technolgies, plus chapters on Alphabet, Meta, and others, mentions the elimination of 3rd party cookies. Well, apparently that’s not happening. Here is the some current info that may be useful for you and your students #BizTechBook https://www.wired.com/story/google-chrome-third-party-cookies-privacy-rollback/?utm_source=press.coop
What Google's U-Turn on Third-Party Cookies Means for Chrome Privacy

Do you teach Social Media? Here's a quick, stats-loaded piece on "The Swiftening" w/Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce. This'll be in v.10 of my textbook Information Systems: A Manager's Guide to Harnessing Technology, published by FlatWorld. Feel free to share with others! https://open.substack.com/pub/profgallaugher/p/taylor-travis-nfl-tiktok-gold?r=2ra1y&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web #BizTechBook #FlatWorld #SocialMedia #TaylorSwift #NFL #TravisKelce #TikTok #Business #Management #Education
Taylor + Travis = NFL TikTok Gold

Taylor Swift fans are a force. Example: during the crooner's recent stadium tour, the audience was so raucous they registered on the Richter scale. The NFL sensed a similar seismic event when Tay Tay showed up at a Kansas City Chiefs game, sitting in a private box with Travis Kelce's Mom and cheering as Travis made clutch plays. At the time, the NFL, the most popular sports league in the United States, boasted 11.7 million followers on TikTok. Swift's account's nearly 21.6 million was nearly double, so the Venn diagram suggests an opportunity to expose the league to millions of current non-fans.
