Lite ojämnt fördelat kanske, men 2024 loggade jag drygt 130 arter i alla fall. #fågelskådning #birdlist

First bird in the garden on the New Year life list for 2024 - a Carolina Wren shouting at the world just before dawn ... "It's a new year. Get up and out the kettle on!"

Today is a good reminder that I need to sharply reduce my time on the toxic bird site. My “following” list now includes many people that I have never ever followed.

As a palate cleanser, here is a photo showing a similar vantage of the remarkable laughing #falcon that I saw in the Sierra Madre de Santa Marta mountains in northern #Colombia; one of 50 #bird species we spotted just on the grounds of Mundo Nuevo Ecolodge (credit: Ron Knight via Flickr - sussexbirder). #birdlist
