Sie warnen, dass diese Vereinbarung weder den Schutz von Wäldern noch den Erhalt der #Natur sicherstelle. #Holz aus Schutzgebieten und Primärwäldern darf weiterhin verbrannt werden, was die #Klimakrise verschärft. #ROBINWOOD und #Biofuelwatch fordern den Berliner Senat auf, die Expansion der #Holzenergie zu stoppen und auf energieeffiziente, klimafreundliche Alternativen zu setzen.
The Croatian state forest management company, has issued three SLAPP suits against a prominent forest defender, accusing her of "criminal offences against the honour and reputation"of the company. Please sign a petition to urge them to dismiss those charges, and to urge the Croatian government to institute legal changes to protect activists and campaigners from similar intimidating SLAPP suits in future.
Biofuel Watch works to campaign against the use of bio-energy. Focusing a lot at the moment on woody biomass. So [our] forests being used to create electricity, but also liquid biofuels from crops like corn and soy. And we campaign to highlight the issues for biodiversity and the climate, and [their] impacts on human health.
