Finished Tempest, the last book in the Old West series from Beverly Jenkins. I loved this series, and while I wasn't a fan of all the leads, it was incredibly well written and addressed so many issues minorities and women faced in the old west territories.

Another incredible story from Beverly Jenkins. Portia swears to never fall in love or marry - so of course she falls in love. I really liked Portia - she was a business-minded woman that wasn't going to take crap from anyone. I didn't like Kent quite as much. A little to teachery-like when it came to their relationship, but still an amazing story.

Finished listening to Forbidden by the amazing Beverly Jenkins. Amazing story, and I learned A LOT. Immediately downloaded the second book in the series, Breathless. It's off to a great start, and I want lunch to get her so I can turn it back on.
