Oooh, I did make a thing this week, for #TextureTuesday. A couple of watercolour washes, some batik in blue, topped with a recent gelli plate impression of a collage. Time to try it out as a layer...

From our summer adventure, a pebble beach (Exmouth, UK) with texture added from an old boat in the Faroes.
Inspired by the texture I found out in the urban wilds, I decided to start with a digitally built colour and add just a bit more. I'm still calling it a layer, not a piece, but it's an exploration, coming at minimal by adding less, rather than subtracting more.
