Today is #BeerDayNI, a day to celebrate all your fantastic local microbreweries. There are 30 breweries and contract brands across Northern Ireland and right now I'm enjoying a Digital Leash IPA by Bellaghy based Heaney Brewery.
It's 6% ABV and hopped with Galaxy and Mosaic, resulting in a hazy and very tasty beer bursting with mango, orange rind and grapefruit pith.
If you value your local microbreweries, give them your custom as often as you can. 🍻
Gearing up for #BeerDayNI this Saturday 15 June with Prime Time of Your Life from Randalstown outfit @ourbrewery
You can find this 8% ABV Belgian Tripel at Tesco Northern Ireland. It's slightly black pepper spicy with strains of banana, clove and honey.
An enjoyable beer at a great price.
Gearing up for #BeerDayNI this Saturday June 15th with a Premium Pilsner from McCrackens in Portadown, Northern Ireland.
It's malty deep but also boasts very appealing light lemon and delicate floral notes.
Let's call it a German/Czech hybrid.
Let's call it delicious.
When Waldorf and Statler are looking on, you'd better pick a good beer.
Any excuse to spend 2 mins in the garden and ahead of #BeerDayNI on 15th June, I opened a can of West Coast IPA Frank the Dank by Belfast's @bullhousebrewco
At 6.7% ABV it's a chewy, resinous beer with a little orangey backdrop. Worthy of your coinage.
💷 Nice to see all the local craft beers in the fridge at @mcgoveranscentra opposite St Anne's Cathedral, Belfast 👏🏼
#BeerDayNI continues with a boozy Irish Whiskey Barrel Aged Citra Double IPA by Ards Brewery, Greyabbey, County Down, Northern Ireland.
This 2020 bottle is 8.5% ABV. The whiskey has a fair punch to it, alongside a whack of bitter orange marmalade from the citrus hops.
Sláinte and cheers from Northern Ireland. 🍻
Happy #BeerDayNI and #BeerDayBritain - with a cracking 7.5% ABV export stout El Capitan from Belfast's Bullhouse Brew Co

A pre-#BeerDayNI brew with an appropriate beery title on the day the youngest one breaks his wrist 🤕
The Crunch is a 4.2% ABV brown ale from Our Brewery near Randalstown in Northern Ireland.
Toffee, nutty and full on malty.
