It doesn’t happen often, but occasionally the doggos that visit leave us a treat.
A rare messy guest clean-up in one of our guest cottages today. Definitely bottom 10%.
- dog hair everywhere including dining chairs, rug, and sofa (both on the sofa and between seats when we make it clear dogs may not go on furniture)
- crud from dirty shoes everywhere
- items moved around and not put back
- a towel missing after taking 2 complete sets because apparently it’s okay to take towels from the cottage to the beach 35km away
- discarded underwear in the bed
- food crumbs, cooking splatter, and water splash across kitchen
No 5 star review for these folk.

Signs of the ideal #BandB guest: chairs upside down on the table (which is way more than we ask for), sweep and swiffer clearly done, glassware clean, used towels in the shower.
