I’m so heartbroken reading the news about bay area musician Rob Reich. I regret not making it to more of his gigs while there was still time, I guess I took it for granted that the bay was blessed with his talent for so long. We only did a few recording projects over the years, but every one of them was a magical memory. Watching this video this morning is bringing tears to my eyes. So long Rob, you were loved by so many!

Bay Area Music Friends! The SF Symphony Chorus is striking because of a proposed 80% pay cut. It’s surreal, the picket line has megaphones but everyone sings in beautiful harmony — and there’s even modulation!

Come thru tomorrow night at Davies, between 6pm and 8pm. I think they’re gonna sing some Verdi at 7ish.
