I have some Makita XGT/40V tool batteries. And a Ryobi 36V garden tool that I'd like to power with one of those batteries.

The only adapter I've been able to find is $80, and that seems like a lot.

AliExpress have hordes of adapters between 18V batteries and tools of any brand combination. For $10 or so.

But 36V? Not a sausage.

Can anyone suggest or find a cheaper option than $80?

While listening to music via my lithium-powered internet-connected touch screen, I ran my lithium-powered electric motor with a large blade until it ran out of juice, then switched to my lithium-powered electric motor on a stick. Now I'm taking my lithium-powered electric motors with tires to get some ice cream because my walfium-powered self deserves it.

I'm not mad about any of this, the future is cool. No pull cords, belched fumes, oil, gas stabilizer, plastic containers full of a bomb's worth of fuel, or any of that crap. For most residential properties in the US and elsewhere, battery lawn tools' time is so here.
