Here's another snap of my #yellow #iris #flower. I'm happy to report that it smells as good as the purple one, although the scent is slightly different! Just as sweet, but with more of a earthy honey note, with hints of overripe fruit. The purple iris smelled like a floral laundry detergent – lovely but very sweet. But here's a confession: the scent of peonies beats both in my n̶o̶s̶e̶ eyes

The big colour reveal for @NotAHopeInHades! ✨

Last year, I got several #iris plants from my Mum, but I didn't know their colour. On Sunday, the first one finally bloomed! The other two are a bit shy (they grow in the shade). But the last image gives you a hint. 😉
They have a very floral scent, reminds me of laundry detergent, but in a good way 🤭

I took so many photos of this damn #flower, both with my phone and a Sony Alpha 6000 I borrowed from my sister in law (that camera and I are not going to be friends). I hate them all! 😩 And since I hate them all equally, I post all for you to decide. Weeeell anyway, long story short, the first iris is purple!
