A certain distraction-based posts reminded me of something
When playing, especially out in public, there are a lot of distractions. Some could even lead to me being distracted enough to make a large mistake. That said, as a bard, I'm trained in the art of reserving juuust enough concentration for the fingers to do what they need to while my eyes and mind wanders
So, what actually distracts me enough to make a serious mistake while playing?
-Yelling off in the distance? No
-Dogs excitedly sniffing at me/my case? No
-Someone carrying a seriously yummy looking meal with them? No
-Giving someone an elbow-bump? No
-Neo-Nazi chuds protesting a venue I was busking in front of? No
-Reading chat during a stream? No
-A knight in shining armour? No
-A buff knight glistening with sweat after taking their armour off? No
-A dancer in a gorgeous yet scandelously revealing outfit dancing a few meters from me? No
-Literal cops standing in front of me posturing like they want to talk to me? No
-Someone giving me a genuine smile while walking by? Every damn time
