We're entering that time of year again where a certain toxic substance is needlessly* sprayed onto English roads, rusting cars, destroying roads and poisoning wildlife. Not to mention the huge waste of money. Yes, I'm talking about salt. For a country that barely gets any snow or ice, the amount of salt that is dumped onto our roads is staggering.
