we can see this 'rise' as a temporary thing (and still pretty meager).. the people opposing hunting is growing much stronger than the hunting group. I guess it's wiser and more correct to focus on that evolution.
For example in France (a 'hunting' country, we might say) there was a survey that showed only 1 in 4 of the French were in favour of hunting. (2022-2023)
