Still wild to me that we haven't banned gas from new construction yet. Also that we're not basically giving away heat pumps at this point. Window units, mini splits, whatever works for both homeowners & renters.
Instead, we continue to widening gas pipes (not to mention highways) in urban areas. #BanGas #ClimateChange
a good thread / story, but the really crazy thing is that we continue to pipe flammable, poisonous gases into our homes in order to save a couple hundred bucks a year on heating #BanGas
Every year at Christmas now I think about Christmas 8 years ago when I nearly died with my wife, child and in-laws. I share this every year over on the Bird Site and will share it here now. It was Christmas Eve. 9 year old was just 1. We were staying at my in-laws who had an acreage just outside Red Deer at the time. We went to bed a bit late but the night was good. 1 year old wasn’t up too much.
Great news for the much needed new construction here in #LosAngeles. When will we renters in older buildings see a bill requiring retrofitting? Air quality and gas stoves don’t mix.
