Putting aside that BFC didn't ban the frat and instead banned the person running it (for what sounds like bringing law enforcement to the convention, if the bluesky comments are to be believed), I kinda question the wisdom of having a frat party like that in the first place.

It feels like having a party in the middle of an adults-only space that requires its attendants to get drunk and be hazed while also apparently hazing non-attendees in the hallway is a bad idea from a liability standpoint. I do get the appeal of it for some people, but for attendants who aren't partaking or drinking, it was pretty disruptive.

Some notes from BFC 2025 in no particular order. (I'll likely tackle most mental health stuff separately later.)

1. Hosting my Upping Your Home Cooking panel was likely my favorite thing I've ever done at any con. Count on me hosting more panels in the future!

2. Y'all babies are so CUTE. Holy HECK.

3. I only wore 1 diaper all con. It really should be more than that next year.

4. Wearing lots of diapers at cons? Probably not for me. Being at cons SURROUNDED by cute folks in diapers? HECK YEAH.

5. There's a low chance of hotel staff seeing this, but THANK YOU! You were all immaculate professionals who showed genuine respect all weekend.

6. To the hotel crew member who used and accessorized a pacifier during the con, you're wonderful.

7. I really should attend as many hypnosis events as possible (and get hypnotized) at future BFCs. Folks REALLY brought their A-game.

8. I'm going to work a lot on expressing my wants and needs, especially leading up to future conventions.

Home from BFC!! The con was super duper fun it was absolutely amazing seeing so many old friends/making new friends.
