Making a #3dprinter for my wife's godson, I picked #BabyBeltPro. Turned out the kit is sold out so I have to self-source last minute. Unable to find linear rails, I took a look at the regular, non-pro version of #BabyBelt and I'll be making a semi-pro version. The frame from the pro and the gantry from the regular.

Honestly, I picked the pro version mostly because the kit was available. I haven't looked at the OG baby belt. Having looked at it, It's such a marvel of love. 11 versions. Everything is so deeply thought through. Meanwhile the pro version seems like something requested by the kit manufacturer, unwilling to engage with "low end stuff" or something. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent machine, but the Original, oh boy. I imagine roboMink might hate the pro version. I watched his videos and mission statement. The pro version seems like something opposite to what he's been working on.
