The fire engine rolls into my street as the storm breaks overhead. It's a bad omen. Nothing good ever happens with the fire engine in my street.

Getting frequent power-blips here. Possibly time to fast-track that battery.

Closest lightning strike had been 200m away (so far).

So far the worst part of the power-blood is that it takes the home network out (until finishes rebooting/connecting), which means I can't use the wi-fi to restart the fan and have to use the actual remote - which is also right beside me, so 🤷‍♀️).

The thunder is rumbling in the distance. BOM estimates it's still an hour+ from raining on my parade (lawn, garden, roof, etc)

Pi is unsettled. Although that could be that he wants me to go to bed so that he can have my chair. 🤷‍♀️
