I foolishly sold the K1100RS. Mistake.
But a few years later, I was in a shop in NJ, and there was a yellow (well, BMW calls it Mandarin Orange) R1100S on the floor on consignment. So I picked that up. Opposed twin, air cooled cylinders, oil-cooled heads, weird no-dive Telelever front suspension, it's an involving bike -- like if someone solved the issues with the R100RS's frame and suspension. The half-fairing is pretty good.
That's my current motorcyle.
