The defeatism coming from #BECTU is unnecessary here. Reciprocal sized tariffs on American film, TV and streaming and ending tax breaks for Hollywood blockbusters would generate enough to fund a new generation of #Britishfilm, TV & micro vids. France has such a healthy local film sector because of the cinema levy on foreign (US) films funding French production. Something similar here is long overdue.
