Why has #BBCTVNews got it so wrong about Prepayment Meters?
They are still say it is about the old key or card ones, the reality that a Smart Meter can be turned into a Prepayment one remotely without the consumer being aware.
It is this that is happening to some, without agreement or prior notification, and why those it happens to are unaware that they are now on a expensive, payment up front tarrif, the very people who can least afford it.
