Back in the late 70s early 80s not everybody bought the radio times and TV times or a Daily newspaper, so at about 7pm (after the local news) the BBC at least would give you an outline of what was being broadcast to the rest the evening this was put as a schedule as a list on the screen and they would also read it out. This would be at least a minute. #bbc #bbctv
