A new omicron subvariant is spreading in China. Here's what we know so far.
BF.7 is a new version of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 that's driving a surge of infection in China.
BF.7 is believed to have an R0, or basic reproduction number, of 10 to 18.6. Omicron has an average R0 of 5.08.
