I recently read a proposal for re-implementing a system in the Azure "cloud". One of the "pros" mentioned was Microsoft Azure's focus on "security.

Since I have already witnessed firsthand the weakness of Microsoft's security multiple times (and had to clean up the mess!) this is laughable to me, and greatly reduces the credibility of this proposal:

Bin so froh, wenn ich in 17 Tagen nichts mehr #Azure zu tun haben werde.

Im Vergleich zu #AWS sind die einfach nur schlecht. Instabil. Furchtbares Interface (Azure Portal) und unübersichtlich.

Das schlimmste aber: Der #Support. Bis die erstmal in die Pötte kommen - einfach nur unterirdisch. Und wir drücken *VIEL* Geld da ab, daran liegt's nicht.

Das setze ich dann im Vergleich zu AWS, wo wir einen Dienst haben und für Support insg. $100 zahlen. Einfach um LICHTJAHRE besser.

Die "Qualität" des Supports bei #AzureSucks ist der Hauptgrund, warum ich nie im Leben #Azure freiwillig nutzen würde. Im Vergleich zu #AWS einfach nur blamabel.

Dauert zu lange bis überhaupt mal wer kommt und dann auch oft hin und her.

Und wir zahlen für echt viel an die! Ich vergleiche das dann mit dem billo AWS Support for business für 50$, oder so. Und da verliert Microsoft haushoch.

#Azure really is such a pile of tremendous pile of #crap.

When the type of a MSSQL database is set to "Hyperscale", no size can or must be specified. It'll be ignored.

When the property "max_size_gb" is read from API, it'll return "0".

But it cannot be set to "0".

That's an issue for #Terraform, because it will ALWAYS discover changes. NEVER be idempotent.
