We're on the edge of an epochal transition that is more similar to the shift from Axial age Antiquity to feudal Middle Ages than the much more discussed transition from feudalism to capitalism. Who's discussing this idea? #technofeudalism #axialage #epoch #WorldSystems

For example I think writing and communication were drivers of the #AxialAge as much as coinage or trade itself. Religion changed from state pantheons to personal gods. Written word made them (us) believe.

Also that we are now in the third or fourth Axial period. With universal electronic communication and storage, and now AI to spit it all back to us. Humanity is in a new epoch in my opinion.

I’d love to comment that idea on Wikipedia!
