Recent developments in the ongoing Emu War have led to the discovery of a missing Cesium radiation source in the possession of an insurgent faction operating in Western Australia. The potential for the use of this radioactive material in a conflict situation poses a significant threat to the safety and security of both the civilian population and American citizens abroad.
We are working closely with our partners in the #Australian government and military, as well as international intelligence agencies, to locate and secure the source and neutralize the threat it poses. However, until the situation is fully resolved, we strongly advise all Americans to avoid non-essential travel to Australia.
