Me: You know how in old movies when a guy tilts the chin of some one up with the tip of his sword?

Friend: (nervous) Yeah

Me: Don't you think that's kind of homo-erotic?

Friend: (very nervously) I guess (wondering where I'm going with this)

Me: You can't do that with a lightsaber.

Friend: (relieved)... ok, not where I was thought that was going... you're an idiot.

@AutisticAdam

I'm actually fine with his stuff about the war, though I agree he shouldn't be using the @actuallyautistic group to propagate them, as (most of) them are not related to autism.

He did agree to start using #AutisticThoughts in his "motivational" questions, but hasn't done so. I may ultimately have to (very reluctantly) mute him.

@danimo @ratcatcher @actuallyautistic well noted regarding triggers, thank you. I will begin using the hashtag #AutisticThoughts for such posts.
@ratcatcher @danimo @actuallyautistic I have taken your suggestion and began tooting questions with #AskingAutistics so that those who don’t want questions can filter them out. Perhaps I will start using #AutisticThoughts for posts such as the above. But remind that filtering those out may cause people to lose acccess to some of the material that they’re looking for

What role does intersectionality play in understanding autism, autistic life, privilege, oppression, masking, and advocacy?
