The winners of the photographic competition will be announced at this webinar! To register click here Panelists Include: Bruce Malcolm Bruce was born at Walgett and now lives in Narrabri. He has been interested in photography since he shot his first image circa 1950 and has dabbled in general photography since then. A few years ago he became interested in macro and acquired a Tamron 90mm macro lens.  Bruce noticed bees (Apis mellifera) buzzing around and became entranced with their work ethic and devotion to the job on hand. They have almost become his exclusive photographic interest, recently native bees have piqued his interest so he might show them a bit more attention now. Bruce is self taught and has no special qualifications but had five of his photographs receive honourable mentions in the top 15 entries out of 672 from the 2022 Photographic competition. Michael Duncan Michael is a senior Technical Support Officer (Biological Science) at Western Sydney University Hawkesbury Campus. He specialises in Bee research including honey bees and native bees. Michael has a long standing interest in photography. Anna Carrucan Anna is a beekeeper & botanist from the Western District in Victoria, she has extensive experience in film and digital SLR and rangefinder photography, including digital post-production, darkroom black-and-white processing, and image capture, including landscape photography, microscopy, portraiture, and street and journalistic photography.
