I own the first 10 volumes of this story and was very surprised when the anime did jump back in time by the end of the season.
I’m very confused. Whether you have read the manga or not, you should also be confused.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ The backstory from Rin’s father was good, he was a good man to this core. The whole temple politics is not super interesting, hiding the secrets, and such. Why not all work together instead? The fire phoenix was cool, not sure if Suguro’s dad will pull through. It would be sad if he died but he got stabbed badly and lost so much blood. Even collapsed after teaching his son the barrier spell.
