Die Schmuckausgabe Agnes Grey (erstmals erschienen Dez 1847) von Anne Brontë (1820-1849).
Es kam noch vor Jane Eyre raus, wurde aber nie so berühmt, was ich ehrlich gesagt schade finde. Die Geschichte hat ihre ganz eigenen Reiz, vielleicht ist es auch die Schlichtheit der Erzählung, die es so faszinierend macht.
Es ist auf jeden Fall ein schöner Klassiker und empfehlenswert!
