Arnd LayerToday I had an electrician install the #AnkerSolix #AnkerSmartMeter for my not yet installed #AnkerSolarBank (happy to pay someone to do that and afraid to electrocute myself if I tried it).
And there are problems. We both were aware of the potential of f*ing the installation up by orienting the sensors falsely. Therefore we double checke and consulted the documentation. Nevertheless, the smart meter reports a negative consumption.
A ticket has been opened with support.
Right now a southern orientation would generate the best production. But I would prioritize a longer spread over the day. Based on today this would not happen. That may change once winter though.
I also need to get a better grip on our power consumption. That would be easier if the #AnkerSmartMeter was working correctly. Sadly, although it was installed correctly by an electrician, it negative instead of positive numbers.
