#AsterixAndObelix The Big Fight was good. I like the idea of making it a limited series, with feature-grade animation. So much room to tell stories. Nothing feels wasted. And consistently beautiful. Clever. And full of fun names like Fastanfurious, Metadata, & Unhygienix.

It's the story of a Gaulish villiage, and the roman efforts to try to concur it. It's based on the LONG running #ComicStrip. And while I dont know that well, it seems well used.

I really recommend this.

A little cutout animation test in blender. This is really using the PolyQuilt add on to use the retopology tool to create the mesh for the face animation.

I used a photo of actor Telly Savalas for the head and a male model from a 60's catalog for the body. The background is from the Flickr Commons.
