Last was a fascinating talk by Sonny Tambe @ #MITIDE on how #RemoteWork changes the #diversity of the #labor pool for #tech #startups. Using some nice #data from #AngelList, Tambe shows that remote job postings attract more diverse and experienced applicants. An extremely vital part of the discussion is if this is desirable if remote jobs lead to lower promotion rates and career mobility, so we'll have to keep our eye on this.
