Il Tempo: Trasporti: Marotta (Enac), 'serve policy europea più strutturata su transizione e investimenti'
Roma, 20 mag. (Adnkronos) - “Il quadro normativo di riferimento è quello che ci ha dato la normativa che indubbiamente presenta ulteriori complessità”. Così Andrea Marotta, direttore Ambiente e Mobilità sostenibile di Enac intervenuto all'incontro a Roma promosso dalla Fondazione Pacta, durante il quale è stato presentato uno studio di scenario dedicato agli effetti delle politiche europee di decarbonizzazione sulla competitività del trasporto aereo, sulla connettività dei territori e sulla domanda di mobilità.
Marotta ha sottolineato come il settore si trovi oggi a operare “con mandati e obiettivi precisi”, ma all'interno di un contesto regolatorio che richiede ulteriori strumenti di accompagnamento. “Per fare in modo che le indicazioni diventino percorsi concreti - ha spiegato - accanto al lavoro dei think tank e dei centri di analisi, serve una presenza effettiva di policy, attività e investimenti nel settore”.
Nel suo intervento, il direttore Enac ha evidenziato anche la dimensione industriale e internazionale della transizione. “Dobbiamo essere chiari - ha affermato - gli Stati Uniti sono intervenuti con strumenti di sostegno e incentivi. Anche l'Europa deve fare una scelta coerente, non di contrasto ma di sviluppo, soprattutto su settori strategici come startup e innovazione”. Marotta ha quindi richiamato la necessità di una visione più ampia e integrata: “Serve una policy complessiva di governo che tenga insieme normativa, investimenti e capacità di adattamento, perché la transizione energetica richiede flessibilità e realismo operativo”.

Rome, May 20 (Adnkronos) - “The reference regulatory framework is that which we have been given by the legislation, which undoubtedly presents further complexities.” Thus stated Andrea Marotta, Director of Environment and Sustainable Mobility at ENAC, speaking at an event in Rome organized by the Pacta Foundation, during which a scenario study was presented on the effects of European decarbonization policies on air transport competitiveness, territorial connectivity, and mobility demand.
Marotta emphasized that the sector is currently operating “with precise mandates and objectives,” but within a regulatory context that requires further supporting tools. “To ensure that the indications become concrete pathways – he explained – alongside the work of think tanks and analysis centers, there needs to be a real policy presence, activities, and investments in the sector.”
In his intervention, the ENAC director also highlighted the industrial and international dimension of the transition. “We need to be clear – he stated – the United States intervened with support and incentive tools. Europe must also make a coherent choice, not of confrontation but of development, especially in strategic sectors such as startups and innovation.” Marotta then reiterated the need for a broader and more integrated vision: “There is a need for a comprehensive government policy that brings together regulation, investment, and adaptability capabilities, because the energy transition requires flexibility and operational realism.”
