I love going to the theatre to watch live performances. There is an energy that fills the room. This was especially evident when we attended The Metro Theatre’s presentation of Agatha Christie’s play And Then There Were None. The atmosphere was electric as the actors brought the suspenseful story to life, keeping us all on the edge of our seats. The 1940’s set design and the talented cast made the experience truly unforgettable, leaving us buzzing with excitement long after the final curtain call.

Agatha Christie’s “And Then There Were None” stands out as one of her most complex and haunting narratives. The novel intricately weaves a tale of ten strangers, each harbouring dark secrets, who are lured to a remote island under false pretenses. As the story unfolds, the tension escalates, leading to a chilling exploration of human nature and the consequences of guilt. The themes of justice and morality not only reflect the societal concerns of the 1940s but continue to resonate with contemporary audiences, prompting reflection on the nature of accountability and the shadows of the past.
