I utterly adore #ARIA but Kozue Amano’s refusal to commit to yuri pairings actively ruined S2 of #Amanchu for me.

@ami_angelwings on a wider level, and more applicable to the mangaka generally, is the yuribait aspect or more accurately the mangaka’s apparent inability to EVER follow through on a yuri relationship. See also: #amanchu

This is a sketch of Hikari Kohinata from the #Amanchu series that I did in late 2016. I colored it about a year later. It's one of the first character drawings I did on my digital tablet, as well as one of the first times I drew in "my own style" as opposed to exactly copying the reference. I wasn't very confident in my strokes yet, so curves are made up of many small straight lines. I still love the expression, and how the hair and eyes are colored.
