A Hundred Years Ago, by Christina Alden & Alex Patterson

Apart from #TheOrb live at the #Manchester Polytechnic around a month earlier in June 1991, this #PrimalScream gig at #TheHacienda, with #AndrewWeatherall and #AlexPatterson DJing support, was one of the messiest gigs I ever went to in terms of the audience being off their faces. I don’t remember much of it - Primal Scream were playing tracks from #Screamadelica I suppose? The LP was released exactly two months later so I can only assume they were. Utter blissful mayhem.

Listening to Martyn Ware's Electronically Yours interview with Alex Patterson of The Orb. If I'm following properly he was a roadie with the original Killing Joke, and Youth introduced him to Jimmy Cauty who was part of the original The Orb and obviously KLF (etc). None of which I knew.
