TIL Jimmy Cauty of the KLF made a series of well received posters of Lord of the Rings and other fantasy / folklore subjects in the 70s and 80s.

> A guy from Athena actually flew in a helicopter to my house to get the poster and gave me £500 and 12 per cent royalties, which I thought was an absolute fortune ‘cos I was on the dole. Apparently it was mostly student nurses who bought it.

I'm finishing off my day of listening to KLF stuff with something... half-KLF? Space is another great ambient album though this one's only by one half of The KLF, Jimmy Cauty. It did, however, originally have material by Alex Paterson and was meant to be the first Orb album, but due to a disagreement Paterson's work was removed and it was released as a solo album. That's the story, anyway.
