少しでも♂主の役に立とうと農業や畜産の本を読みはじめたアレックス。こんなに文字ばかりの本を読むのは、きっと生まれて初めてだ。慣れない内容に何度もページを行き来しながら眉をしかめる。

本の半分ほど読み進めたところで、アレックスはそのままベッドに倒れ込み眠ってしまった。しばらくして様子を見に来た♂主。静かな部屋。ぐっすり眠るアレックス。その側では飼い犬が心配そうに見守っている。

思わず顔を覆う。

衝動のまま抱き寄せてしまいそうになるのを堪える。

勉強に頭を悩ませるアレックス。そして別の意味で頭を抱える♂主。
どうやら今夜、悩んでいるのは二人ともらしい。

The new home of the rare animal became #Lincolnshire_Park. Volunteers found #Alex in the backyard of a house in the #Kharkiv region in November 2022.

He lived in captivity, was exhausted, dehydrated, had parasites and problems with internal organs. Also, due to #Russian shelling, he was in a terrible emotional state.
