So true! I simply cannot stop listening to "Third Stone from the Sun/If You Love Me Like You Say" as either a studio track or a live recording.

"If You Love Me (Like You Say)" (written by Johnny Taylor) was a 1964 B-side to "First Class Love" (written by Clay Hammond), both recorded by Little Johnny Taylor (1943-2002, born Johnny Lamont Merrett).

Albert Collins covered "If You Love Me Like You Say" on his 1980 album "Frostbite", which should also be in everybody's listening history!

#NowPlaying Albert Collins - At Onkel Pö's Carnegie Hall, Hamburg 1980 (Live). The Onkel Pö¹ was not far from where I grew up and where I've been living again for a long time now. I'd never been to the Onkel Pö though, it closed when I was 12 years old and I learned much later about this famous music club.
